Send email through your own Google Workspace account
Bookings Essential Email Relay is an optional feature of Bookings Essential that allows customers to connect an authorized Google Workspace account to their Bookings Essential account for email delivery.
Once connected, Bookings Essential can send booking confirmations, reminders, notifications, and other customer communications through the customer’s own Google Workspace account.
This allows emails to be sent using the customer’s authorized sending address and domain, helping maintain a consistent and trusted sender identity for their customers.
What access does Bookings Essential request?
Bookings Essential requests only the Google Gmail gmail.send permission required to send email on your behalf.
We do not use this connection to read or search your Gmail mailbox, access your Gmail messages or contacts, or access Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google Workspace services.
During the connection process, we also receive the email address of the authorized Google account. This is used to confirm that the authorized account is associated with the Google Workspace domain that the customer has selected for email sending.
How is Google data used?
Google data obtained through this connection is used only to provide the email-relay functionality described above.
It is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
We do not sell Google user data or provide it to third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
